PROFORM™ CHIMNEY LINER & Restoration System - New Jersey

We are proud to announce that we have added a new chimney liner system brought to us by American Chimney Supplies known as ProForm Chimney Restoration System™.

ProForm™ is a composite lining system that gets inflated into the chimney flue and steam pressure is added to harden the resin which will turn into hard composite liner. It conforms to any shape, size and length of the chimney and become a non-destructive chimney lining system which is corrosion proof, flame and heat resistant, airtight liner with a rigidity of a steel.

With the inflatable chimney liner technology existing size of the chimney flue is minimally reduced 1/4" of an inch making it an ideal chimney relining solution for odd shape flues, multiple offsets and already undersized chimney flues.

ProForm™ is already listed as a Chimney Liner System with Underwriters Laboratories known as UL under 1777 Specification for Chimney Liner system for Gas and Oil Application. It can be used on the commercial chimneys undergoing oil to gas conversion or any fuel change. It is durable and acceptable worldwide as a chimney liner system. Although new in the States this product has been accepted for use through the New York State and New Jersey area.

ProForm™ sizes are available from 4" to 40" in diameter with heights up to 330' making it an ideal one day solution chimney relining system for most commercial buildings. Eliminating the need for external boilers and minimal interruptions for heat and hot water heater boilers. After the composite resin has cured during steam application boilers can be turn on almost instantly.

The material of ProForm™ is made from three main components:

1. Interlocking tube-shaped sleeve for installation purpose only- will be removed after steam curing.

2. Prepping layer- This is glass fiber reinforced thermosetting resin with ceramic filler, a so-called composite material. This part facing flue gas � after (A) is removed.

3. Exterior Fiber- This layer made from special fabric non-elastic outer layer to prevent physical abuse.

The liner is initially flexible in shape easy to insert in brick chimney, tied top end to seal for any steam to leak, apply steam at bottom of the liner up to 300 deg F and pressure up to 2.25 psi for two hours until it cured as a solid construction.

ProForm™ chimney liner is to be installed in masonry chimneys and metal chimney's that are no longer code conforming and are used to vent gas or oil fired appliances only. The liners are manufactured in sizes of 3 in. to 40 in. outside diameters. The chimney liners are intended for installation in masonry chimneys having a minimum height of 25 ft. and a maximum height of 350 ft.

The main area of application of ProForm™ Chimney Restoration is the lining of existing and new chimneys. It is UL approved to be used with gas and oil heated boilers. It can be used with all types of boiler as well as with chimneys of all sizes and shapes. Its rigidity characteristics enable it to be used for the construction of freestanding chimneys as well.

Suitable for Residential, Commercial, and Industrial chimneys in lengths up to 350' and 40" in diameter.
